Focused Dog and Certified Dog Trainer Matt White offers a variety of services including:

In the Focused Dog group class you’ll receive six one-hour lessons from Matt.  Classes meet once a week and are generally held on Saturday mornings.  Achieve peace of mind knowing that your dog understands basic cues well enough to be safely brought out in public.

We also offer helpful tips and solutions for behavior problems like Jumping, Chewing, Barking, Digging and Nipping.   Your dog trainer takes the time to answer any questions you may have related to your dog.

Group Lessons Fee: $125

Private Lessons

As mentioned, Focused Dog offers private lessons if you’d like to train your dog in the comfort of your own home with as much individual attention as you could possibly desire.  Some behavior problems are better addressed through private lessons rather than in a group setting.   The lessons can be tailored to meet your individual needs.

** Focused Dog offers private lessons/consultations in your home at a rate of $65.  This can be beneficial if you’re in need of consultation regarding certain problem behaviors.  (Subject to change if outside the city limits of Visalia and Tulare)

(6 Pack) Private Lessons Basic Manners Fee: $300  (Subject to change if outside the city limits of Visalia and Tulare due to travel time)

You’ll receive six lessons from certified dog trainer Matt White, and cover the same material that’s offered in the group class and more.

Beyond Basics Training (5 Weeks): 

Dogs that have completed the basic manners class may be admitted into the Focused Dog Beyond Basics Training class.  Now that your dog has learned the basics, take it up a notch!  We’ll focus on proofing cues and the 3 D’s: Distance, Distractions and Duration.

* Advanced Recall/Come (With Whistle)
